When my pressed-in studs started pulling out (74 Chevy El Camino, 350) I really didn't feel like pulling the heads and having them machined down for those expensive screw in studs, such as ARP. As good as ARP studs may be, this car is just a daily driver, no need for heavy duty stuff. I pulled old studs out, tapped the whole, siliconed the threads, screwed them in tight and was in business in less then an hour (only needed to do 6, so far).
