Made from durable 16-gauge steel, Hooker Competition headers feature 5/16 in. thick flanges that are heavy enough to maintain header integrity, yet pliable enough to seal each exhaust port. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment.

Does not Fit 68 Camaro!

Where to begin. So I am use to "Making things work" when dealing with performance products and headers are a good example of that. With that said I really gave it all I had but there is now way these are going to work with my 68 Camaro (or I just got a bad lot) The end of the header at the collector is too high/close to the floor pan so it cannot clear the cross member for the transmission with 3 inch diameter collector without some serious mods. It also needed a dent added at the pass side header as it was pushing up against the firewall and would not level out to be bolted on unless I flattened it out with a hammer (and I did) so it would fit. Now I just noticed the cross member issue and I already did my hammer mods to get it in so no returning it.. All this on the easy pass side! So I basically just threw them in the trash after having them a whole 6 hours. Going to just spend the money for a good set, you get what you pay for! ...read more

I purchased these headers last summer and have nothing but trouble out of them. The drivers side fit perfectly but the #7 tube on the passenger side is bent far to tight allowing for zero clearance between the plug and tube. I tried dinging the tube, wrapping, thermo boot on the wire and high temp plug wires to no avail. A serious waste of time and money and to beat all else Hooker refused to warranty them because of the wrap. Their mistake and I paid for it! Go Hedman ceramic in my opinion.
