These Holley GM LS retrofit engine oil pans are designed to install an LS engine in a variety of GM musclecar and truck chassis. They provide OEM fitment, OEM oil filter mounting, OEM oil cooler port provision, OEM engine NVH suppression, OEM flange gasket and sealing, proper structural rigidity, and OEM bellhousing attachments. The oil pans are manufactured from traditional high-quality cast aluminum and include a sump baffle, oil pump pickup tube, sump plug, oil filter stud, and oil passage cover.

Awesome pan for the money, well worth it

Bought this to swap a LQ9 into my 68 Firebird. Fit like a glove all around, presented no problems. Engine is now in the car and the pan sits in there beautifully without any subframe interference, nor is it too low. Great piece!

I'm putting an LS motor in a 77 Monza Spyder for which there are no specific applications to do this. This pan is the closes thing to a stock pan I could find. So far it has worked out very well.

Holley GM LS Retrofit oplpan 302-1

This was easy to put in, fit well and looks good. The bottom of the pan comes out even with the bellhousing.

HOLLY GM LS RETROFIT OIL PAN

My oil pan was a fairly nice piece of work and easy to install. However, some of the machine work around the gasket seating area was not perfectly flat. I was also disappointed that the kit did not come with a gasket or dipstick and I had to go to the local GM Dealership to get the parts $80. I spent some time filling off rough and sharp edges (thin material) that could easily chip off and become foreign debris in my oil. If the pick up tube cycled this debris then I could certainly damage my engine. I would suggest Holly pay more attention to the quality of the product and protect their brand name which is known for manufacturing "good stuff" I have not got to run the motor with the new pan yet and will be adding an AccuSump. I would recommend the pan to others and would also purchase another one for my next project. I would simply caution those to inspect the pan and take a little time to fix imperfections.
