Nice Kit - Horrible instructions!

This is a great kit.... once you know how to install it. Going by the instructions is vague at the very best. I have an '89 Mustang GT, and, interpreting the instructions to hook up the horn was okay, but the diagrams looked like they were hand drawn and then faxed somewhere else before being photocopied for the instruction sheet. Very hard to read / view. The biggest issue was that it didn't say anywhere that I could find in the instructions that the main spring on the steering shaft has to be removed in order for the tri-lobal "Die-cast Hub" to seat properly and tightly. I actually had to search the internet to discover what the issue was. Remove the main spring and then torque the main bolt to spec and you should be fine. ...read more
