Blower motor case is vented

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

This blower motor was substantially lower cost than most others. After receiving it, I now see why. It is an open case which allows air to circulate within the motor and cool it(allowing smaller copper windings). The 3/4 inch hole on the outside is sure to eventually get some water from the engine bay and either leak inside the cab or fail. I would spend the extra $ and get a sealed motor (like the original). more
