No More Overheating

After changing to a heavy duty radiator, the fan-clutch & fan would not pull enough air to cool the temperature. After I put the Flex-Fan on, my Blazer runs cool. Even when it was 110 degrees outside.

Fan

I bought this fan for my Trans Am and it works very well compared to the fan I did have on it. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Ready For Takeoff

This is an outstand lightweight fan and just what I needed for a stationary Ford 460 engine. If I were installing this in a moving vehicle, I would likely mount it to a fan clutch. Flows a ton of air and substantially enhances the cooling effort. Perfect for my stationary generator engine.

Flex-a-lite fan

Easy to install and decent looking. Moves plenty of air for my 81 vette, which traditionally have a tough time keeping cool.

Well built, pulls good air

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I have a 78 Chevy K20 4x4 truck with a 400 ci engine and 4 core radiator. The truck came with a fan clutch mounted to a steel fan. Recently one of the fan blades decided to detach itself from the rest of the fan and make a quick exit through the shroud and almost through the hood. The clutch was frozen up and not functioning properly, so I bagged it, and put this fan in. So far, it keeps the temp where it needs to be but its still the cool time of the year. I gave it 4 stars because it hasn't performed in high 90's or low 100's summer heat yet. Its significantly lighter than my old set up, so I'm hopeful for a little better gas mileage. The fan itself is well built. The blue area is a double layer of steel and the blades are aluminum that flex with changes in RPM. I had to buy a 2" extender block to get it back into the shroud area, but other than that it was a direct bolt-on. ...read more
