Firestone's Coil-Rite air helper springs mount inside the coils of an existing coil-spring suspension to give your vehicle a boost when it needs it the most. They're constructed from durable polyurethane and allow for adjustable spring rates that are far superior to those of standard coil springs. Installing them will allow your suspension to support an additional 500 to 1,000 lbs. per set. Installation does not require drilling.

Air Helper Spring for 2003 Honda Pilot

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

It is a perfect fit for my 2003 Honda Pilot and works great. It does a better job than the factory bump stop, as the air bag fills the space between the bump stop mount and bottom of coil spring pocket, so the air bag is providing lift even when the vehicle is lightly loaded. It helps the vehicle maintain the rear ride height when heavily loaded, but is not designed to increase the rear ride height beyond factory specification. Depending on the air pressure being maintain, it does stiffen the rear suspension, which is good as the original suspension was too soft. The vehicle is more stable and especially noticeable when going around curves with a heavy load. It took a lot of effort to install the air bags, but well worth it. I wish I had installed them years ago. more
