Lowering kit

Pretty cool kit. You can't ask for anything easier. When you get it I would paint the u- bolts because there raw metal. Also was a little upset to find they only sent me enough nuts for one side. I had to go to the local hardware to replace them.

Worked as expected

Installed on a '90 Nissan pick-up. Worked perfect, stance is perfect, quality hardware, good price. I would only suggest to angle the 3" like the 4". My truck didn't seem to mind the new pinion angle, but it has a two piece drive shaft. I think on a longer 1 piece drive shaft, it would vibrate at highway speeds. I had to cut the angle on 2" blocks, on my SWB S-10, to correct the pinion angle and fix the vibration problem. I don't like shims. Well worth the added labor, just be prepared to do it, if needed. ...read more

Be sure you know what you're getting into...

3" lowering was too much for a stock 1990 Toyota 2wd. Left me with about 1" to the bumpstops at rest, so it was bottomed out with any load, and hit the stops a lot when unloaded. Took them out and went back to stock. 1" is probably about all you can do and keep usability.
