Avoid these if you hate leaks

I should have listened to the other reviews.... I tried in vain to get these to seal up between my Transmission hard-lines and rubber hose. Used the right amount of teflon tape and started over several times. Never was able to get them leak free. Might be OK for a low pressure line but I doubt it and in my opinion not worth the risk. These look very high quality, but when it comes to performance your mileage may vary..... ...read more

These are just what I needed to plumb in my trans cooler. Be sure to use some quality high density teflon tape on the NPT threads (not compression nut) between the compression fitting and the female barb connector. If you don't, they will leak.

Used these for both fuel and transmission lines. Easy to install, seals well. This is a great method to transition your hard line to hose without the hokey "just put the hose over the tubing and tighten very tight" Price is a little steep, but this is a specialty product so I don't mind as much. One recommendation that may seem obvious to most (but I found out the hard way). Use Teflon tape on the middle adapter to hose barb adapter fittings for sealing. The tube adapter to middle adapter does not require that since it is using a compression fitting to sealing. ...read more
