Curt Trailer Hitch for 2011 Escape

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Fit and finish is good. This is a two man job, I did it by myself, lots of blocks of wood and a floor jack. The wires to feed the bolts through the frame should be about 6 inches longer. I attached some stainless wire that I had laying around with electrical tape to make it longer. Doing the job by myself took about 90 minutes. With a helper it would only take maybe 30-45 minutes. ...read more

Good quality hitch. My husband is impressed. Took a little more work than others said to install.

Great Hitch

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

It took me just short of an hour to install. Fishing the bolts through the frame wasn't as difficult as it looked. Be sure you enlarge the access holes for the bolts enough before you try to fish the bolts through.I used a 1" drill bit at an angle to be able to get the carriage bolt head through.
