knurling hits the guide plate

I picked this up to measure pushrod length for a Ford 302 w/ TFS 1 cam and TFS 170 heads. The knurling on the tool interferes with the guide plates. I ground off the knurling to get it to fit without rubbing the guide plate. Could have left the knurling off IMO. I like the tool though. Easy to use. No math to translate between measured length and pushrod length. I had another tool from another vendor, and it was very poor in comparison to this one. ...read more
