The last thing you need in the middle of a race or a road trip is to have a transmission or engine go south because your oil cooler can't keep up. B&M's SuperCooler oil coolers will keep your transmission or engine cool and running in your time of need. They're made of lightweight aluminum, with an efficient "stacked plate" design. Multiple cooling paths give them the cooling capacity of larger fan-and-tube coolers. And, because they have a low pressure-drop design, there is less oiling-system restriction.

Lower temp

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Installed very easily. Put a 700R4, and a 2400 stall converter in my '77 vette, and added this B&M unit to bring my trans fluid temp right down to where it should be.

The cooler keeps my transmission so cool I have to route it back into the radiator in the winter or it has issues warming up. It does an amazing job when towing and hot summer days. Would buy again.

Cured overheating problem

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

97 f250HD 4X4 PSD. When we were towing our 32' travel trailer the transmission was getting warm and pushing fluid past the front seal. Put the transmission cooler on and no more overheating problems. 84 degrees outside and never seen a drop of fluid.

External Transmission Cooler

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Fabulous product. I needed an external transmission cooler for my 2002 Toyota 4Runner because they are liable to mix transmission and coolant fluid with the original in-radiator tranny cooler(faulty design + high mileage). I isolated the radiator from the transmission cooler. The transmission runs better now, even feels like it shifts smoother. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to protect their tranny from failing! ...read more
