They're made from .049 in. cold-rolled, flash-controlled tubing and feature Flowtech's mandrel-formed Power Plenum collector. All ports are precisely fitted and finished with durable, leak-proof, O-ringed port seals. The headers are available with either a high satin black painted finish or a silver luster ceramic coating. In addition, they come with all mounting hardware, including bolts, nuts, and premium gaskets. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. Hole Alignment

The Left Header went on with ZERO issues and very little effort. The Right (Passenger side) header will NOT fit the mounting hole pattern. We put in the front mounting bolt first, then rear mounting hole is not even close to being aligned correctly. Tried all kinds of methods and bolt insertion rotations (which bolts to put in which order). Nothing works. Tool photos of the hole alignments to see that the holes are off by as much as 1/8 inch. Tried taking the header off and filing out the appropriate holes (based on the photos we took). Many many attempts putting the header on with a few or even 7 of the 8 bolts, taking pictures, taking the header off and filing, RINSE and REPEAT (over a dozen times)... no luck, just can't cut out the holes that much and still have metal left for the bolts to grab. Received a replacement set of headers from SUMMIT (They were very willing to do so), same exact issue with the second set of headers. We gave up after 7 days of hacking on the 2 RIGHT-SIDE headers we had in out possession. NOTE: The second set of headers required us to DENT or DIMPLE the front pipe in order for it to clear the vehicles frame. ...read more

So I just got these headers installed on a 1994 ford f150 5.0 302 V8. I went the straight pipe route no cats, no mufflers headers and pipe. engine has 228,000 miles on it and still strong. This thing is so loud. I have a charger srt8 with flowmaster 10s 6.1 hemi thats loud, but i always wanted loud. Well this set up is loud. I like it but i may put a muffler on it, cause its just loud loud loud. the only thing I reccommend is that either by some ceramic headers, or by these and get them sandblasted and get high temperature paint. Not bad

It was a pain to wrestle them into place. The bolts were hard to start and are too close to the pipes to use a socket. Headers are long and don't allow an O2 sensor to be installed in factory location.
