When you think about lowering your musclecar, historically the most overlooked components are the shock absorbers, with many owners simply leaving the factory units installed, thinking that they are good enough. However, when you lower your musclecar, many of the components that you will use reduce the effective travel of the shock and can render your OEM shock absorbers virtually useless. That's where Belltech comes in with these musclecar Street Performance shocks. Belltech focused their attention on tuning the low-speed compression characteristics of these musclecar Street Performance shock absorbers, which are responsible for controlling your musclecar's pitch and roll, dive, and squat to help keep you confident and in control. The progressive rebound tuning will complement large aftermarket wheels, keeping your ride smooth, but firm, and in control.

They are a twin tube design so they are not too stiff but stiff enough for very spirited driving, yet not so soft as to allow excess movement of the rear end. Will definitely buy again if needed. ...read more

Great shock value! lol

Blew a stock shock on a 2001 Trans Am. Had Eibach Sportlines so I thought I'd try a shock for lowered vehicles. The springs on the rear were a HUGE mistake. Driveshaft ground into parking brake tree. I have stock height springs back on and this shock rides great! My handling in tight curves is controlled and it soaks the bumps. Doing great on the 1/4 mi as well. A+ BOTTOM MOUNTING BOLT IS LARGER DIAMETER THAN STOCK!!!! had to drill/ream hole ...read more
