Their low-speed compression characteristics help to control pitch and roll, while their progressive rebound tuning allows you to use large aftermarket wheels and still have a smooth, firm ride. Oversized 55mm shock bodies, 35mm pistons, and 15mm piston rods, combined with vehicle-specific damping tunes, will give you the ride that you are looking for.

Looks good in the box but they do not fit

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I bought these for my 71 Chevelle and they do not fit through the hole in the bottom A-arm. You shouldn't have to remove the springs to install the front shocks or modify stock A-arms. The shock body measures around 2.0" in diameter which is around 0.25" too large to fit through the stock A-Arms.

Belltech Muscllecar Street Performance Shocks

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I purchased these for my 1980 Buick Regal. I am in the process of a complete front to rear modernization of the suspension and steering, which includes lowering the car 1 inch front and .08 inch in the rear. Gentleman, if you are looking for a quality performance shock Belltech has it for you. ...read more

Lowering shocks

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Ordered these shocks for my 74 nova but they wouldn't fit through the lower control arm as a conventional shock should. To be fair I was able to modify lower mount to slip the shock in from the top with the spring out but I was really surprised it didn't fit like a normal shock.
