When you think about lowering your musclecar, historically the most overlooked components are the shock absorbers, with many owners simply leaving the factory units installed, thinking that they are good enough. However, when you lower your musclecar, many of the components that you will use reduce the effective travel of the shock and can render your OEM shock absorbers virtually useless. That's where Belltech comes in with these musclecar Street Performance shocks. Belltech focused their attention on tuning the low-speed compression characteristics of these musclecar Street Performance shock absorbers, which are responsible for controlling your musclecar's pitch and roll, dive, and squat to help keep you confident and in control. The progressive rebound tuning will complement large aftermarket wheels, keeping your ride smooth, but firm, and in control.

Belltech Muscllecar Street Performance Shocks

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I purchased these for my 1980 Buick Regal. I am in the process of a complete front to rear modernization of the suspension and steering, which includes lowering the car 1 inch front and .08 inch in the rear. I saw that these shocks were specific for a 1 inch lower and grab theme ASAP. AND, BOY am I glad I did, outstanding handling qualities and a firm ride without being harsh. Gentleman, if you are looking for a quality performance shock Belltech has it for you. ...read more

Lowering shocks

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Ordered these shocks for my 74 nova but they wouldn't fit through the lower control arm as a conventional shock should. To be fair I was able to modify lower mount to slip the shock in from the top with the spring out but I was really surprised it didn't fit like a normal shock.
