Reduce body roll, understeer, and generally sloppy handling with one of these Addco anti-sway bar kits. The bar is made from high-carbon steel and is hardened and stress-relieved to give your suspension superior support during sudden or sharp turns. Most kits include 12-gauge zinc chromate plated brackets with fully enclosed bushings and heat-treated end link bolts for added strength.

Sway Bar, Shocks and Coils

I replaced both the stock sway bars on a 98 Crown Vic, front (ACO-509) and rear (ACO-650. I also replaced the shocks with KYB gas-adjust and replaced the rear coils with MOG-CC865 coils. There is definitely a noticable difference. The understeering went away and the handling is much better and safer. It did not turn the car into a sports machine. The drive is still very comfortable but the control characteristics of the car have greatly improved. The rear coils raised the rear about 1.5 inches and IMO it improved the looks of the car because I always thought it was kind of sagging in the rear. For roughly $750 in materials and DIY it was definitely worth it. more
