These ACCEL ignition control modules are designed to fit most stock or modified distributors. ACCEL ignition control modules come with solid-state electronics for high-coil output and superior reliability. The dwell control circuit ensures long, consistent coil charging, and the current control circuit protects against coil overheating and resists false triggering from the RFI of high-output coils.

Poor quality

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I installed this part about a year ago in my snow truck. As it did not snow much this past winter the truck was only driven twice. Coming into winter time this year I go to get the truck ready and it starts and runs fine for the first trip down the road to the shop and back. Then the next time the truck would not start. No fuel to the injectors. Turns out this ignition module had gone bad. I would say less then 500 miles on it and less than 10hrs on it. Really not impressed with this. I expected more from Accel. more
