Allstar Performance ball joint spreader tools are used to separate a ball joint from a control arm or spindle. The inside cylinder of the spreader tools is shaped to fit the tapered stud of the ball joint. To use the tools, place them between the upper and lower ball joint stud with the nut removed from one ball joint, and then turn the tools to push the ball joint from the spindle.
