Works perfectly on SBC

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

The adapter that threads into the snout of the crank went in about 1.5". The puller and installer work very easily. The ball bearing in the round piece really makes the job easier. For my sbc 350 in my 80 Corvette, this tool is awesome.

Best balancer puller I've ever used

I have a difficult balancer on a big block I have been trying to remove with my regular tools I've used for years. I saw this kit being used on TV and read the reviews, so I bought it. I was able to remove the balancer and replace the leaking front seal. Great product!

Could Be Better

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

This puller seems to be a very good design. I've used it a couple of times and it does the job well with one exception. The adapters that come with the set are too short. I used the 5/8" adapter and it only has about 1" of threads on it. The way the crankshaft is designed, you can only get about half of that threaded so when you start to install the balancer, it's highly likely that you are going to strip out some of the threads. Pulling a balancer goes a lot easier since the adapter is pushing against the snout of the crank. As a puller, this kit gets 5 stars. As an installer, this kit gets zero stars. ...read more

Tuff

Very heavy duty puller and installer. Removed a VERY stubborn big block balancer.
