They're made from a softer, more malleable alloy to be more resistant to breakage under harsh racing conditions. Richmond also offers them in a lightened version that features an outstanding rotating weight loss of up to 6 pounds, ground pinion threads for trouble-free installation, and a special heat treatment for improved strength.
