These 9mm wires feature a spiral-wound suppression core for low resistance and minimum spark loss. They have tough silicone insulation to withstand high temperatures and voltage loss for minimum crossfire, and are highly resistant to fuels, oils, and solvents. Other features include 45 degree plug boots (most applications), stainless steel distributor cap terminals, and a coil wire (if applicable). The wires are numbered for each cylinder and have the "Ford Racing" script on them.

These wires work super, fit great, look good and have cyl. numbers on them. Great value.

Nice looking, poor performance

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I have a 460 race motor. These wires had some issues, namely 3 went bad in about 4 years, only about 200 miles of street/race use. I purchased them again, and the #4 cylinder wire is way too long, and #3 way to short. Also, the Coil wire is too short, as I have my coil on the fenderwell, not on the block, so it won't work! The impedance is poor. I tested the two bad wires, and they were dead. The third wire was about 4000 Ohms of resistance, so about dead. Most wires were averaging 3000 end to end, pretty bad. The new wires were about 1500 per foot of resistance, so really poor performance that way, about the same as before. They look great, nice boots, nice looking silicone wire, but they performed poorly. If Ford Racing is going to put their name on wires, they should have low resistance (like less than 300 Ohms per foot or less), and shouldn't go bad in such a short time with little use. My car is mostly a show car, but I do race occasionally, and I wish I could have that wire with a Taylor 409 or Moroso Race wire type performance. ...read more
