Not a Bolt on

Its alright, however the base of the carburetor had a small 32nd wow in it no wonder they give you 3 gaskets. The choke plate came upside down. and had to zip cut the back vacume ports down to fit with the manifold vacume port. Thats understandable but not the base plate having a wow in it. Works ok though.

Best out-of-box experience ever

Great carb! I've used Edelbrock carbs in my last several street rods. To be fair, all performed fairly well and mitigated the power valve and bowl gasket issues I had with Holley's. But I could never quite get off idle response quite right w/o cranking in extra initial timing. NO SO with my 1901 Street Demon (1901). I back out all the extra timing. Idle transition is very smooth, and secondary response is excellent! Engine is a crate 350 with a mild cam. I've built stout 400 SB's, home made 302's, 327's, 350's, and a 427 (454 block with 396 crank). Demon wasn't around then to make me do a happy dance! Love this carb! Time will tell as always. Street Demon Carb

I was very satisfied with this carb. It was pretty much plug and play no surprises the only thing I had to adjust was the idle. Your delivery time was excellent. I ordered it on a Tuesday and it was delivered on Friday.

'65 289 mustang never run better

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I've been struggling to get my '65 fastback running well. I rebuilt the stock autolite. She ran OK throughout countless adjustments and jet changes. I tried a friends Holly briefly and it has such a dead spot I couldn't stand it. After all other ignition components replaced with new, I reluctantly put the autolite in a box and bolted on the Demon. I've driven a few hundred painless miles now and I wish I would have bought the Demon earlier. I may have to adjust the demon at some point as I live at 7600 ft and drive to 5000 feet regularly, but she drives so well now we'll see. ...read more

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I purchased 2 of these for a dual carb set up on my 66 catalina 2+2 and they're killer, but they do need to be tuned to work together as the come tuned to work solo. excellent product.beautiful topper for an engine.the amount of vacuum ports gives many options and ways to route things,i've swapped alot of carbs, but these are here to stay.
