A "no Brainer"

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

This Check Valve is the economical solution to several issues plaguing modern carbureted fuel systems. Modern gasoline, in particular California blend, evaporates very quickly. I installed this valve along with a Carter fuel pump on a street driven high 11 second Chevy. This valve enables me to let the car sit for several days and still retain a fuel line that is full, so I don't have to run the electric pump before fire up. It is easy to install and only requires approximately .3 of a pound of pressure to operate. I will be purchasing more of these for customer vehicles in the future. ...read more

Carter Check Valve

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Carter Fuel Check

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Well engineered and made. With a little screw turning the spring can be accessed for removal or augmentation and be used as a pressure relief valve down stream from the carburetor in place of a fuel pressure regulator up stream. I have been running one of these in my '69 Dodge daily driver as a check valve (spring removed) for the last 300,000 miles in 25 years with no problems. This product is a good value. - Joe Seller ...read more
