Protect yourself.

Roll cages offer a great deal of protection, and are mandatory in many classes of racing. They also increase chassis rigidity, which can deliver better handling and improved reaction times. Competition Engineering makes 8, 10, and 12-point roll cages that you weld together and weld into the vehicle. They're made from 1 5/8 in., 0.134 in. wall mild-steel tubing (1 3/4 in., 0.134 in. wall for 8-point) that's CNC mandrel-bent and end-notched for a better fit. Eight-point kits include the main hoop. Ten and 12-point kits include the main and top hoops, front support tubes, main-hoop cross-brace, and diagonal hoop supports. A separate strut kit containing the door bars and remaining support tubes is required to complete all roll cages. Many kits are NHRA and IHRA-approved.
