Valve springs are one of the most critical and overlooked components in your engine. They must be matched to your cam in order for the engine to reach its full potential. It does absolutely no good to install a cam that will perform up to 8,000 rpm if you do not have the correct springs. Use the only valve springs that will give the recommended spring pressure with the valve both on the seat and at maximum lift. COMP Cams valve springs are offered in single and dual styles to meet their cam requirements.

Worst Valve Springs ever

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Because the are expensive I thought I get quality: Far from that! 1. height difference tallest to smallest 0,2" out of one box :unbelievable! 2. Top of Spring tilted up to 10° more or less, should be parallel. This can lead to "Spring break". 3. Inner round of upper end oval up to 0,2" so theres no guidance for the retainer. Is that what you call "Engineered to finish first"? I have seen beehive Springs in car engines which were as precise as it should be. But the way higher priced aftermarket stuff is """ compared to cheap OEM springs. ...read more
