Pro series cylinder head studs from ARP are cold-forged to ensure molecular integrity. They are heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining and are rated at a whopping 200,000 psi for the 8740 material and 220,000 psi for ARP2000. ARP Pro series kits are also available with 12-point nuts, and all kits come complete with hardened parallel washers for an even load distribution and accurate torque readings.

Nice part but beware of the sealant you choose.

ARP quality is excellent, I used the recommended ARP thread sealant into a '75 010 350 block that had just returned from the machine shop. Ran thread chaser through all threads, cleaned with brake cleaner, installed the stud using the ARP thread sealer. Engine sat on the stand for a couple days, plenty of time to cure the sealer. Heads installed and shortly after start up antifreeze coming out around 5 of the studs. A call to ARP and I was told that the stud threads are a rounded thread, the block threads are square and do not seal well. Was told by the ARP support guy I should have used Permatex Ultra Black RTV. Again great studs, super stong and reliable, BUT the instructions should say if these are going into an old block Ultra Black RTV is the sealant of choice.
