Closer Look: Rancho QuickLift Coil-Overs

Over the years, we've discovered that most automotive innovations can be grouped into one of two categories: The "How in the World Did They Ever Come up with That Idea?" group and the "I Can't Believe Someone Didn't Think of That Sooner" group--A.K.A. the "Why Didn't I Think of That?" category.
Rancho's QuickLIFT Coil-Overs definitely fit into the second group.
The fixed seat coil-overs are designed to allow late-model pickups and SUVs to accommodate larger tire and wheel combinations (up to 35" on some applications) at a fraction of the cost of a traditional suspension lift. QuickLift Coil-Overs simply mount in place of the OE spring-seat shock and provide an additional one to 2.5 inches of lift with no drilling, welding, or cutting required.
Once installed, Rancho QuickLift Coil-Overs will deliver improved off-road performance thanks to other design innovations, including a nitrogen gas charged tri-tube configuration. This tri-tube setup combines reserve, intermediate, and primary tubes with a patented mono flow design to yield a greater fluid capacity than comparable shocks. This larger fluid area allows the QuickLift shocks to provide exceptional performance under a wide range of load and temperature conditions.
Rancho's myRIDE nine-position tuning system lets drivers set their QuickLift shocks' firmness for any terrain. The nine-position adjustment knob can be set to soft for street performance, mid-range for comfortable highway driving, or firm for off-road. The myRIDE system can also be connected to Rancho's optional in-cab controller for one-touch firmness control from inside the vehicle's cab.
Best of all, it's easy to take advantage of the improved performance, aggressive stance, and increased tire clearance. Installation is a simple bolt-on deal using your factory coil springs-simply remove your existing shock, position the spring on the QuickLift shock assembly, and install the QuickLift on to the vehicle with the OE mounts. Rancho says the whole process usually takes under two hours.
That's up to 2.5 inches of additional tire clearance in less than two hours. Makes you say, "Why Didn't I Think of That?" doesn't it?
