Summit Racing Equipment is ready to deliver hot ignition spark at an even hotter price with its new and improved Summit Racing Street & Strip Multi-Spark Digital Capacitive Discharge Ignition.
Summit Racing gave its Street & Strip Ignition cutting-edge microprocessor controls to create hot, consistent sparks for performance throughout the powerband. This capacitive discharge system creates a powerful 100 mJ spark at full voltage, with multiple sparks below 3,000 rpm to improve starting ability, idle quality, and throttle response, while preventing plug fouling due to cylinder load-up. It has a 470V primary/45,000V secondary output, plus a built-in rev limiter with rotary dials for easy adjustment from 0 to 9,900 rpm.
The ignition box’s lightweight cast aluminum housing has a durable metallic silver powdercoat finish and measures 8" L x 4" D x 2" H. It comes with direct plug-in connectors for most 2-wire distributors (including points and magnetic pickups), installation hardware, labeled wiring, optional Weather Pack connectors, optional vibration-resistant mounts, and detailed instructions.
